YETI Tundra 65 All-Purpose Cooler
The YETI Tundra 65 cooler is a heavy-duty generalist, equally adept at keeping your catches cold in the field or serving as the drink-and-food hub for a tailgate, party, or other times of general revelry. This ice chest is plenty roomy, holding 39 cans, a keeper redfish or a small quartered deer. Whatever you choose to chill, you know this top-quality cooler will keep it cold longer thanks to 2 meaty inches of insulation and our cold-keeping gasket. Dry ice compatibility allows you to keep everything chilled for as long as possible. Need your YETI to serve as a hunting cooler one weekend, a marine cooler the next, and a party cooler right after? Don’t be afraid to mix it up: the durable polyethylene material can stand up to repeat duty again and again, and the integrated, self-stopping hinges scoff in the face of excessive use. The handles are made from marine-grade nylon rope with textured grips for easy carrying, even fully loaded. If you’re taking the Tundra 65 out on the water as a marine cooler, don’t forget that it’s also a great casting platform in a bay boat. And as a hunting cooler, the grizzly-proof* design gives you peace of mind in bear country. Although it doesn’t make the bears so happy.
*When used with YETI bear-proof locks

I bought this cooler in June of '13 right before or group of 4 couples headed from central MO to Dauphin Island, AL. I packed 60 cold beers and 27 pounds of ice in my yeti 65 on a Thursday night. When we reached the beach on Saturday afternoon, it looked like I had just thrown it on the truck a few hours before!!! WOW! By Sunday my buddy had already given up on his cooler and was throwing his beer in my yeti! We restocked drinks in it every morning but only added ice every 2-3 days!!!
As for a testament to how tough they are.... I was going to put out deer stands this fall and had my yeti strapped to the tailgate of the truck behind my ATV. Well the strap broke, the cooler came off the truck, and rolled and skidded several hundred feet down the pavement and into the ditch!!! I SWEAR ON MY LIFE, I did not lose a single cube of ice, or drink out of my cooler!!! And other than some minor road rash it was just fine! If you are on the fence about getting a yeti...... BUY IT!!!!! It will be the last cooler you ever buy!
I bought this for my husband as a gift because he travels quite a bit in his truck. This is the best ice chest for everything. It is totally worth the money. I took it grocery shopping in the middle of July(days are around 115) I put a small back of ice in the bottom after it had sat in my car all day at work. I have to travel an hour one way to get to the grocery store. I did multiple errands before hitting the grocery store. Put the food in the Yeti and when I came home 6 hours later there was maybe a teaspoon of water in the bottom. Very impressed. My husband can have peace of mind with his food in the Yeti on very long trips and it will still be fresh. I told him I want to buy a couple more.
I bought the Ice Blue Tundra65 for my boyfriend and we absolutely love it. Thought it was going to be "too much cooler" to just bring on the boat for drinks, food, etc... But it was perfect! We even enjoyed putting rock salt on our ice to have beer slushies :)
Commercial Fishing Bussiness, been through many coolers of all types. The Yeti is the only one where the ice will stay for days! The straps that close it are awesome and should last for years, unlike plastic latches on other coolers! I love the blue color, it matches our boat. It stays steady on deck and cleans up good. We will only buy Yeti coolers from now on!!
